Description:

The It's Academic team represents Yorktown on the It's Academic
television show.  Three members of the team appear on the show.  The
team also participates in district and regional academic competition
through the VHSL Scholastic Bowl in February. All Yorktown students who
have a B average or better are eligible to take a test used to screen
applicants for the team.  The It's Academic team meets Thursdays after
school.  The team needs the help of volunteers and funds to buy
materials to prepare students for matches.
