CHORUS - CHAMBER CHOIR

Chorus is a beginning musical group that meets one class period per day throughout the school year to learn to sing and to read and write music.  No experience is needed and students at all Yorktown grade levels may enroll.  The group generally performs classical and popular music.  Students may need to buy their own outfits.  Chorus needs parent volunteers, contributions, and fund raising to operate.

 CONCERT CHOIR

Concert Choir is a select advanced choral musical group that meets during one class period throughout the school year to explore traditional and contemporary choral pieces. Admittance to the class is through director's approval, and is generally for 10th - 12th graders and some selected 9th graders.  Members should have prior singing experience and some ability to read music.
