Description:

The Jazz/Pop Vocal Ensemble provides experience in jazz and popular music performance.  Elements of sound, blend, musicianship and the stylistic aspects of jazz and popular music performance are emphasized.  Opportunities in solo work and improvisation with local jazz artists are provided and encouraged.  Attendance is required at school, community and public performances.  Membership is through the audition process in late January and early February.
