Description:

Students enrolled in the Yorktown Orchestra perform at school events and concerts throughout the community. Orchestra students have the opportunity to play in the Arlington All-County High School Orchestra (AACHSO) which rehearses once each week.  AACHSO members must have at least one year of string experience.  AACHSO students may be eligible to participate in the Spring orchestra trip.  Past trips include Charleston, SC, Busch Gardens, and Canada.  The group receives some county funds and conducts fund raising events.  AACHSO Boosters meet regularly and provide administrative assistance to the orchestra.
