Mission Statement:  The Yorktown Counseling Department is in place to support the academic, social and emotional needs of our diverse student body.  Counselors work with students individually and in groups, while also offering programs aimed at meeting the needs of specific student populations.  In working with teachers, parents, administrators, community resources and students, the counselors attempt to ensure the current and future success of all students.
