Summer Reading 2006-2007

The faculty and the administration know that reading is important for
success in high school and beyond. Yorktown�s homework during vacation
policies reflect faculty awareness that students look forward to a break
from regularly assigned academic work, and are often involved in other
types of enrichment activities, which we support and encourage. With
this in mind, summer assignments will not be required. 

The Yorktown English Department suggests that you review last year's
required reading for some suggestions as to what may be covered in the
first weeks of the new school year. All of us at Yorktown wish you a
happy summer!
