Indoor track provides
training
and competition in track and field events. Running events range
from
55 to 3200 meters with separate events for hurdles and relays.
Field
events include shot put, high jump, long jump and triple jump.
Indoor
Track competes in the Winter season. There are no cuts.
Practices
are held Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, from
mid-November
to February. There are at least four meets each season. Uniforms
are issued at no charge. Members provide their own shoes.
