Outdoor track is for
students
interested in training and competing in track and field. Running
events range from 100 to 3200 meters, with separate races for hurdles
and
relays. Field events include discus, shot put, long jump, triple
jump and high jump. Outdoor Track is a Spring sport. There are no
cuts. Practices are held Monday through Friday, with occasional
Saturdays,
from March through May. There are at least five meets each
season.
Uniforms are issued at no charge. Members provide their own
shoes.
Parental help is appreciated.
